Sai Boddupalli joins the BSA from the Builders of Color Coalition, where he was responsible for overseeing program scaling and execution, events, communications, bookkeeping, and other administrative and organizational support. He has previously worked as a staff manager for a historic music venue in Cambridge, and as the Membership Relations and Events Manager for the Central Square Business Association, where he helped guide the transition of the organization to a Business Improvement District.
Sai studied Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music, and continues to perform, teach, and consult as a musician. He currently lives in Back Bay with his wife and their American Eskimo dog, Yuki, and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Fenway Garden Society.

Born and raised in the historic coastal city of Gloucester, Massachusetts, Miranda D'Oleo developed a deep appreciation for the natural world from an early age and witnessed firsthand the delicate balance between human activity and the environment which inspired her determination to protect the planet and advocate for sustainable practices.
With a strong commitment to equity and justice, Miranda is driven by a passion to advance a clean and just transition. Her unwavering dedication to this cause is rooted in her belief that environmental protection and social justice are inextricably linked.
Prior to joining our organization, Miranda honed her expertise in building decarbonization advocacy at the Massachusetts Climate Action Network, immersing herself in both state and municipal policy initiatives. She spearheaded campaigns to shape legislation and programs that promote energy efficiency, reducing embodied carbon, and sustainable building practices.
Miranda earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020.

Sara serves as the Office Manager at The BSA, where she ensures smooth and efficient operation of the organization’s daily activities. Sara is not only dedicated to supporting the mission, but providing the necessary resources and support to both staff and the membership body as a whole.
Joining us as a licensed realtor with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, she also handles BSA space rentals here at Atlantic Wharf.
With a decade of experience in office administration and management, her career has spanned various sectors, including alternative healing modalities, education, housing, and the arts. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from The University of Vermont, where she worked closely with adolescent refugees from Nepal, Sudan, Somalia, Iran, and Iraq, developing after-school art programming.
Outside of work, Sara has a deep desire for exploration and seeking out the stillness of a moment. Whether in the Green Mountains of Vermont, the bluffs of Nebraska, the Mojave, Joshua Tree, or hot springs hopping up coastal California, connection is what she returns to again and again. She believes that the most beautiful conversations happen between strangers in passing.

Passionate about socio-political infrastructures and community-driven design, Taylor spends her time at the BSA focusing on design education as a key to activating youth voices in city building. Since graduating from Syracuse Architecture with a B.Arch in 2016, she has also taught the Innovators For Purpose’s teen design studio and is actively involved in multiple pro-bono groups as a designer and steering committee member. Away from the BSA, Taylor can be found tracing every bit of the city by foot— just be warned, her pace is brisk to say the least! 🏃

Paige is a culture worker who is passionate about the restoration of our relationship to land and community. She joins the BSA from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where in her role as the Associate Director of Public Programs, she convened architects, designers, theorists, and policy makers from around the world to present their work on a broad range of urgent topics in landscape and the built environment.
Paige earned dual Masters Degrees in Art History & Theory and Arts Administration & Policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Psychology and Art History from Boston University.

Leah joins the BSA from uAspire, having held a variety of positions at the organization, including major gifts officer; director of development, Massachusetts; and most recently, Vice President, Development Operations & Strategy. She is an experienced development professional with strong relationship building and project management skills. In addition, she has also held fundraising and account management positions at American Red Cross, BJ's Wholesale Club, United Way of Massachusetts Bay & Merrimack Valley, and Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. Leah earned an MS in public affairs from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and a BA in political science from Providence College.

Dave Nagel is our Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Dave has an extensive background leading marketing teams and creating disruptive campaigns that build brand relevance and value. Most recently, Dave ran his own marketing consulting business – Endangered Species Marketing (ESM) – specializing in providing brand and messaging strategy to help emerging businesses. Prior to ESM, Dave led Marketing and Communications for Baskin-Robbins and sat on the board of Dunkin’ Brands Community Foundation. Dave’s background also includes agency and in-house creative work on profit and not-for-profit businesses as diverse as L.L.Bean, the National Basketball Association, 3M, Chase, Canon and The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Dave and his wife, Lisa, have lived in Marblehead since 1999 and have two sons (Jacob & Ben) in college and a daughter, Lilah, in high school. Outside of work, Dave is passionate about photography, college and pro sports and can be found working out at his local gym.

Wandy works on the BSA's Housing-related work and has led the BSA's Future-Decker exploration. She spends her time existing at both and in between the BSA and the Mayor’s Office of Housing, which co-host her Housing Innovation Design Fellowship.
Wandy was previously an architectural designer at Stull and Lee, Inc, and Madison Park Development Corporation, where she gained understanding on the intersection of community development and design. She holds a BFA in architecture from UMass Amherst and an M. Arch from MassArt. Wandy is deeply interested in independent anti-colonial design, especially as it pertains to her native Angola.

Ben is a designer, educator, advocate, and convener. Ben joins the BSA from a long tenure as an Education Director and the Director of Gateway at the Boston Architectural College where he was responsible for the development and delivery of a design curriculum rooted in practice, civic engagement, and community-based design partnerships.
Ben has collaborated with an array of neighborhood organizations, community partners, students and professional designers on projects that address sea level rise and climate resiliency, creative and equitable strategies for co-creative engagement, and interdisciplinary approaches to understanding the spaces and narratives that shape the experiences of the city’s most vulnerable populations. Ben received his undergraduate degrees in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College and a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Kimberlee Schumacher (she/her)

Kimberlee Schumacher is a seasoned nonprofit executive with over twenty years leading mission-driven organizations in various roles including Interim Executive Director and CEO. She is passionate about building strong and equitable organizations, teams and leaders.
She has successfully led organizations through mergers and acquisitions, turnarounds, succession planning, strategic planning, crises response, and significant fundraising growth. In addition to her own executive and board leadership roles, Kimberlee has trained and coached hundreds of nonprofit CEOs and board leaders on how to build healthy organizations through strong strategy, finance, DEI, fundraising, governance and operations practices. Kimberlee is an adjunct professor at Brandeis University and teaches numerous graduate leadership and management courses.
Kimberlee earned her BA from Brandeis University, MA from University of Wisconsin, MBA from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing her PsyD in organizational leadership with a concentration in inclusive leadership from William James College.

Prior to joining the BSA, Erika worked for a sustainable land investment firm and other nonprofits and as a swim coach. Her ambitious athletic regime—swimming, running, triathlons—coupled with Erika’s daily database and list-management vitamins keep her and the BSA fit. She holds a BA from Clark University, where she double-majored in philosophy and government international relations. Erika is captivated by historical architecture and historic landscapes, such as the Boston Common and Public Gardens, and she loves being a mom.

Keith has worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, most recently in fundraising and development at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he wrangled alumni, prospect, and giving data and associated processes into actionable intelligence and campaign collateral. With a background in Russian language and regional studies, he previously worked abroad and contributed to democratization and civil society development in the former Soviet Union, which blessed him with a profound conviction that wonderfully good people inhabit all nations across diverse walks of life. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, travel, contemporary art, and escaping to Cape Cod and the White Mountains.

Natalie joins the BSA as the Associate in Marketing and Communications after spending time working at a product engineering startup where she specialized in intuitive design for improved communication between engineers, developers, and end-users.
Natalie earned a dual-degree B.S. in Design, Innovation & Society and Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she gained insight and experience designing across sectors and disciplines. She describes herself as a storyteller aiming to bridge the gap between the new and the familiar.
Outside of the office, she can be found drawing the city as a member of Urban Sketchers Boston, reading, and spending time outside year-round.

Anna joined the BSA as the Development Associate after working in the e-commerce industry as an account manager, specializing in both B2C and B2B support. She is a graduate of The George Washington University with a B.A. degree in Political Science and Anthropology. She is passionate about advocacy for social and racial equity, and has prior experience as a political field organizer.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures, attending live concerts, and reading a good mystery novel.
