AIA COTE Knowledge Community
The national AIA offers many online forums known as Knowledge Communities, which share information about industry topics. This Knowledge Community shares interests with our own, and may be a good resource for those interested in our committee.
AIA Committee on the Environment Knowledge Community
The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design. We believe that design excellence is the foundation of a healthy, sustainable, and equitable future. Our work promotes design strategies that empower all AIA members to realize the best social and environmental outcomes with the clients and the communities they serve.

As an additional resource for working through the Massachusetts Energy Code, we recommend the “Decision Tree Matrix” developed by the Sustainable Design Leaders. The matrix is referenced through the Energy Code Presentation series, links to which can be found on the COTE and Codes Knowledge Community pages on the BSA website.
