2021 Harleston Parker People's Choice Award
Every year, a jury convened by the Boston Society of Architects/AIA (BSA/AIA) is asked to award the Harleston Parker Medal, which recognizes “the most beautiful piece of architecture, building, monument, or structure built in the metropolitan Boston area in the past 10 years.”
The jury selected the winner but we want to know, how do YOU define beauty in architecture?
Over the past month, the BSA opened up the polls for anyone interested to help select the People’s Choice Award winner. The winner was narrowed down from the 2021 Harleston Parker Medal finalists (below). When the polls closed on January 25, 2022, the people had chosen their winner.
The 2021 People's Choice Award winner is the Jefferson Park Apartments designed by Abacus Architects + Planners for the Cambridge Housing Authority.
