Event Description
The BSA Cultural Facilities Network is pleased to invite you to tour the Huntington Theatre.
This historic facility has been recently renovated to increase its capacity for meaningful public engagement and the vibrant exchange of ideas through the performance arts.
Bruner/Cott Architects, the design team behind this renovation, restored the theatre to acknowledge its historic past, but also elevate the place into a contemporary performing arts venue. This balance was achieved through a series of thoughtful design interventions such as reclaiming original façade character, drawing attention to a new marquee, embracing the uniqueness of the original auditorium, and weaving the modern architecture and interiors that enable new experiences and technical support.
Nurit Zuker, AIA, Senior Associate at Bruner/Cott Architects and Esther Daube-Valois, Operations Associate at the Huntington Theatre will lead the 45-minute tour. This event will include a Q&A session at the end.
