About the Role

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and wants to contribute to a practice shaping the built environment in meaningful ways.

The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications and be involved in a wide range of marketing and business development efforts. Responsibilities include managing RFP/RFQ responses, developing compelling collateral tailored to various market sectors, coordinating award submissions, and supporting PR, communications and digital content efforts. You’ll also help maintain our CRM and internal databases.

This is a key role in telling Utile’s story and shaping how we share our work with the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate responses to RFPs and RFQs
  • Create and update marketing collateral and project sheets
  • Manage awards submissions and assist with industry recognition.
  • Support communications efforts, including website updates and social media
  • Maintain marketing assets, databases, and CRM systems
  • Contribute to internal storytelling and firm-wide initiatives

Qualifications - Minimum Requirements

  • Completion of four-year undergraduate degree in architecture, graphic design, communications, or related field, and/or experience working in a marketing capacity in the AEC industry
  • 3-4 years experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in architecture or related field
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Google Workspace
  • Interest in design, architecture, and urban planning
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
