Scott Griffin Architects has an immediate opening for a versatile Designer with 5-10 years of experience. Our 12 person firm has a wide variety of projects that allows every member of the firm to work on many different types of buildings from conception through construction. The ideal candidate has technical proficiency, good communication skills, and can work independently through all phases of design as well as collaboratively with others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and with a team on projects from conception through construction.
• Communicate and coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Construction detailing and 'crafting' clear sets of construction documents.
• Construction administration
• Conduct site visits to document existing conditions.

Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch).
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Solid understanding of construction technology and detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Licensure not required, path to licensure is a plus.

Salary is based on experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in Waltham, MA with flexibility to work remotely as needed. We offer a benefits package with medical, dental and 401K.
