About This Position

Bruner/Cott Architects is seeking a new architect or architectural designer to join our mid-sized full-service practice in Boston, MA. Our collaborative design practice strives to create thoughtful design solutions, transform places, and enhance the human experience while respecting the natural environment, project site, and existing building conditions. We are driven by design excellence and an active commitment to a sustainable future. We have been recognized as an AIA (American Institute of Architects) New England Emerging Professional Friendly Firm.

We are looking for candidates who have a passion for collaboration, and the transformation of the built environment—especially through deep study of existing structures, low-carbon design, and regenerative practices. Candidates should have a passion for the design and delivery of ambitious projects. Candidates should demonstrate:

  • 3-7 years of experience
  • A strong sense of design and building technology expertise
  • An ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in SD-CD document sets
  • Proficiency with one or more 3D modeling programs and Adobe Suite
  • Commitment to and expertise with a high level of sustainable design thinking
  • Ability to communicate visually and verbally
  • A professional degree in Architecture and/or demonstrated progress on path to licensure recommended

This position is hybrid, with a flexible in-office schedule requiring three days in the office/on job site based on team needs.
