APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.
  • Have completed a minimum of two years of study in an accredited program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • We're looking for candidates with:
  • Fundamental knowledge of space planning, design methods, documentation, materials, and aesthetics.
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Basic proficiency in Revit/3D Design.
  • Intermediate skills in Adobe Suite.
  • Intermediate abilities in hand-sketching and rendering.
  • Experience with Enscape (encouraged but not mandatory).
  • Self-starter attitude with a drive for excellence.
  • Highly collaborative nature.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.

Example Internship Responsibilities/Roles:

As an Interior Intern at EMBARC, you will:

  • Work closely under the supervision of peers and senior-level staff, functioning as an entry-level Junior Designer.
  • Assist in modifying drawings to incorporate design and technical changes.
  • Create or modify presentation documents to convey design concepts effectively.
  • Participate in selecting finishes and producing finish palettes.
  • Aid in scheduling vendor presentations and organizing library files.
  • Assist with site verifications and field surveys
