About This Position

Social/Digital and Public Relations

Work alongside Marketing Team to curate and produce thoughtful social content that reflects CBT’s strategic plan goals.

  • Research and report on data analytics; areas of strength and weakness
  • Develop social media content calendar
  • Develop media plan in coordination with external PR consultant
  • Interface directly with CBT’s external PR consultant for materials, presentations, and misc. content
  • Develop content around projects, people, processes, and thought leadership using imagery, text, and video
  • Identify KPIs, and audit/report on current state of CBT digital platforms
  • Increase social media following via frequent & consistent posts with approved messaging
  • Increase engagement with digital content (and website interaction)
  • Feature thought leadership from design staff, practice area experts through self-published content
  • Maintain digital library of thought leadership content – blog, videos, podcast, etc. – to be used and repurposed in various efforts
  • Post media/press coverage to social media with aligned strategic messaging
  • Draft and publish posts to CBT’s News and Ideas website pages
  • Assist with special projects – video, internal exhibits, podcasts, blog development
  • Coordinate photography with internal staff for CBT’s internal/external events

Photography

CBT’s design projects range from workplace interiors to multifamily residential towers, to civic and academic architecture, laboratories, and renovation projects. Photo shoots of this nature require the following:

  • Spearhead the major activities associated with architectural photography, overseeing shoots with Relation to the firm’s greater PR goals
  • Art direction/support, a keen eye for design and perspective, as well as creative problem-solving on-site and ability to interpret all scales and type of design.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, detailed administrative capabilities, creative thinking, and impeccable writing and editorial storytelling ability are all indispensable

Design Awards

Central to this component are the following activities and attributes; the successful candidate will need to:

  • Skillfully respond to design award competitions with compelling and customized submissions that effectively convey the excellence of each entry.
  • Coordinate with graphic design department for programs with layout/portfolio requirements
  • Possess persuasive, creative, and focused writing skills.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of preferred
  • Degree in communications, design, and/or art with practical application is preferred
  • Candidate should be a self-motivated professional.
  • There is a high level of interpersonal communication across the firm and with many external parties, so ease with — and quality of — professional interactions is critical
