Event Description

Join the Placemaking Network for a walking tour of Northeastern University's Boston campus, with a special focus on placemaking efforts including public art, the campus's famed arboretum, lessons learned from placemaking efforts, and public realm improvements that help to manage the town-gown relationship.

Hear directly from NU's Campus Planning, Urban Design, and Arboretum teams about how they approach making an exciting and beautiful campus at the heart of a busy city.

The tour will meet on Forsyth Street just outside Ruggles Station on the Orange Line, and conclude near the Mass. Ave. Station on the other side of campus.

We'll likely stop into The Westland after for some refreshments!
