AIA MA Government Affairs Committee Meeting

On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, AIA MA will host its monthly Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meeting at 8:30 a.m.

This will be a virtual meeting.

The GAC chairs invite all interested members to join us for an update on the legislative and regulatory issues that have an impact on the way we practice architecture here in Massachusetts.

We’ll receive legislative and regulatory updates, along with key updates on our Historic Preservation legislation, the Newly Elected Legislators Breakfast, and interior design discussions with IIDA. Our discussion will focus on improving the bill review process, strengthening AIA component engagement, streamlining committee involvement, and planning future topics and speakers.

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
