Event Description

The presenters will discuss the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Guidebook. The guidebook outlines a plan for adding more accessible and affordable neighborhood-scale housing options. It offers design ideas to help property owners understand which type of ADU suits their needs and what to consider during the design process. Additionally, this publication marks the start of a small-scale residential rezoning initiative to make it easier to build a variety of homes in Boston, helping residents stay in their communities.
