Event Description
Join CultureHouse and the City of Somerville at Gilman Square (also known as the Homans lot), a vacant lot transformed into a temporary outdoor Pop-Up Park. Notch Brewing and other vendors have partnered to activate this space for the community on Saturdays.
The Gilman Pop-Up Park is a gathering space for local organizations, a hangout space for residents, and an opportunity for development for local businesses, artists, and creatives. This activation aims to connect Gilman Square with the rest of Somerville, bring back vibrancy, and test out future uses for vacant spaces in Somerville. We will have a presentation on vacant lot activation and placemaking, and more specifics about this project from the people that made it happen. Please stay and enjoy Notch Brewing with us after!
