Join us for the February 2024 edition of “Conversations in Architecture”, a monthly, in-person discussion of real-world challenges in the built environment to advance the knowledge and expertise of the entire membership community and better serve our clients.
Elizabeth Christoforreti of Supernormal will lead the discussion.
The conversation will focus on an unprecedented project for Supernormal that combines architecture—design for an additional dwelling unit tested across modular, panelized, and stick assemblies—with the design of financing and policy to enable these units to take root and scale in middle-income communities. Issues on the table include assessing construction type and vetting which aspects of the project are optimal for off-site vs. on-site labor, and design optimization for multi-generational households.
