We would like to invite all interested members to join us for an update on the legislative and regulatory issues that could have an impact on the way we practice architecture here in Massachusetts.
At our March meeting we will discuss:
- Legislative Advocacy For Architects – a presentation on the overall legislative process, what makes a bill successful and what makes for effective advocacy; and
- Review pending bills on subjects that align with the AIA MA’s 2023-2024 legislative and regulatory goals;
As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
Please Note: At the April 12th GAC meeting, we will discuss the recent advisory from the
Commonwealth’s Board of Registration of Architects and the AIA MA memorandum on the use of the title “Architect”.
