Future-Decker Project Update

Please join the Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) and the City of Boston, Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) for a virtual Community Meeting to discuss Boston’s Future-Decker Initiative. This kick-off meeting marks the second phase of the Future-Decker Design Competition. BSA and MOH are excited to share project updates following last year’s Request for Ideas (RFI). During the meeting, we will also discuss the following;

• A summary of previous development efforts.
• The fascinating history of the two city-owned sites that were selected for a forthcoming RFP.
• How these sites fit into the larger considerations about small vacant sites throughout the city of Boston.

Beyond sharing, we want to listen to meeting participants interested in solving Boston’s housing problems. As we begin this next phase of the Future-Decker Initiative, we hope to grow and build on the interest from the design competition. Pre-registration is required to participate.
