Join us for this facilitated discussion and workshop on the opportunity for design firms to invest in the creation of more inclusive practices and cultures that nurture belonging for employees. In this 90 minute session, guided by Agncy Design, we will learn about:
• Readiness to engage in equity-driven change
• Ways that an organization can engage in building a vision of belonging
• Identifying levers to drive culture change
• The process by which a firm can knit together activities to engage in this work
This workshop will begin with a 30 minute instructional session followed by a 30 minute breakout session where you will have the opportunity to work with small groups to engage in skill-building reflection and to tease out specific behaviors that may assist in moving your firm culture forward. We will come together for the remaining time to discuss lessons learned and to address any questions. You will come away with action items which you may immediately begin to integrate into your practice.
We encourage you to invite a colleague from within your firm to share this experience with you as a useful starting point for a conversation.
Agncy is a non-profit organization who uses design as a tool to reduce structural inequity. They work with teams to make design practices more equitable and explore how to de-bias our work through service system design, visioning and storytelling, knowledge sharing and community-led design and strategy.
