AIA MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: ELECTION, LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY UPDATES

This will be a virtual meeting on Zoom

As chairs of the AIA Massachusetts Government Affairs Committee (GAC), we would like to invite all interested members to join us.

This month we will review the online networking event to connect newly elected state Representatives and AIA members, held on Wed/Feb-24. As always there will be updates on regulatory and legislative issues affecting the practice of architecture in Massachusetts. Especially, status of the Next Generation Climate Roadmap bill, Net Zero code efforts, and schedule for the 10th Edition building code.

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC’s mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
