This session will present an overview of the numerous export services offered by U.S. Department of Commerce and African Development Bank that assist U.S. industry firms with projects overseas.
Jim Paul, Director of the Boston Office for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration, will provide an overview of this agency’s in-country services at U.S. Embassies and Consulates as well as sample case studies of firms that have successfully enhanced their international work through these programs.
Julie LeBlanc, Senior Commercial Officer to the African Development Bank, based at the U.S. Embassy in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, will provide an overview of the African Development Bank Group with an emphasis on the opportunities available for architectural, construction, and engineering firms of the BSA’s Global Practice Network in the infrastructure sector across Africa as well as guidance on strategy and approach.
