Sustainability Education Committee (formerly Architectural Education Committee)

This network—of educators, practitioners and other industry professionals and students interested in the meaning, implications and ramifications of an ecological mindset—is centered on the assumption that learning is continuous through life, and learning about climate change is essential for everybody. Awareness is the beginning of this process of acquiring ecological literacy, followed by an accumulation of knowledge and thereafter mastery of how to practice one’s profession in order to mitigate rather than aggravate climate change. The activities of the committee encompass lectures by experts in their respective fields to broadcast cutting-edge tools, skills and methods.
